Our Story
From Arusha to the Serengeti
Malaika Explore Safari was founded by a team of Tanzanian guides and travel specialists who grew up alongside the wildlife and landscapes they now share with the world. The name Malaika — meaning 'angel' in Swahili — reflects our belief that every guest deserves a journey that feels truly blessed.
What began as a small guiding operation in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro has grown into a trusted safari company, known for its intimate group sizes, expert local guides, and deeply personal approach to East African travel.
We work exclusively in Tanzania — the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the pristine shores of Zanzibar — because we believe that knowing one destination deeply is far more valuable than knowing many destinations superficially.
